We are 100% committed to providing horses and other animals with a wonderful home that provides them the opportunity to live in a setting that is as natural as possible. Horses should always have the opportunity to roam, run, graze, play and be free to socialize with other horses. We provide all of our animals with large green pastures, fresh water and the freedom to break into a dead run whenever they choose. Horses should be able to graze and have unrestricted freedom and most importantly they should be allowed to socialize, when managed properly. All horses should have companionship. A horse should never be confined in stalls for long periods and they need to graze without restraint. Horses are the ultimate herd animal and they need the companionship and freedom to interact with other horses in order to be healthy. Many people have truly lost sight of the beauty of the horse by altering their natural feed source, over blanketing or extensive stalling in order to maintain a show coat and eliminating the horses ability to socialize freely. Our love of animals, the care that they need and the freedom that all animals deserve, brings us the greatest happiness. Maybe we should all remember where the term "horse play" came from and let the horses... dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, geese, peacocks and turkeys... PLAY! |
