| Now a Word From Our Horse Boarders, Visitors, and Email Pals! Tami, owner of Chaise, shown on the left. Tami writes: Last October we were looking for a new stable to keep him, the one we were at wasn't caring for him at the level I felt he needs. I called Red Star Stables on an add I saw in the Omaha World Herald, I then went to their web site and saw what a wonderful place this was. My boyfriend and I went out the next weekend to take a look and meet the owners. About 15 minutes after we got there I knew this was the place for my Chaise. We loved the owners and the level of care was just what we were looking for. And the best part is Chaise goes out into a large pasture everyday with the herd. Now this sounds like a normal "horse" thing to do but Chaise has never been out to pasture nor has he ever been part of a herd. He just loves every thing about his new home and he's become the perfect horse. I thought he was perfect before but now he's calm and happy and nothing bothers him anymore. He walks by machinery, trailers, ducks and doesn't even notice them. He's just a wonderful trail horse and we have many places to ride now. I do plan on showing this year and the State Fair and maybe even another trip to the Black Hills. It's such a peaceful feeling knowing my baby is having fun everyday but mostly just knowing he has the best of care and I have nothing to worry about!" Arlene, owner of Classy shown on left. Arlene writes: I stumbled across Red Star Stables. They are close to my home and don't keep hours. They are small and were only looking for adult boarders. Best of all...they want to trail ride. I went for a visit and really liked Susan and Mark and their new stables. I knew it was the right move for Classy and me. We have been here a little while and couldn't be happier. Classy is outside more which seems to have made her calmer. She has already settled in to her routine and made herself right at home. So have I. Susan and Mark have made it easy. I have been able to spend more time with Classy and have become more hands on in her care. I've met some of the other boarders and really like them too. We each seem to have a little bit to offer each other and look forward to the horsey fun and educational things we will do. And of course, we all love and care about our variety of horses and other assorted animals that live here under Susan's care and watchful eye. Best of all, Classy and I went on our first trail ride together! I am happy, Classy is happy, and I've made some like-minded friends. I feel very blessed that I found the right horse, the right training, and now the perfect place for us to be. The future looks bright for Classy and me at the new Red Star Stables!
